New SAP Transformation Study – a cooperation project of DSAG with bbh consulting

Ben Heigert May 17, 2023

For several years now, change management in the context of IT transformations has been one of our consulting focuses. While technology implementation partners focus on the technological and process aspects of the transformation, we, as experts in “people-driven change”, ensure that the organizational and people-related aspects do not become a showstopper for a successful transformation in terms of time, budget and quality. We do this by helping the project team address the following transformation challenges:

  • Customized development of a change strategy and roadmap that fit the organization’s maturity level and readiness for change
  • Effective stakeholder management and development of a supportive multiplier network
  • Project management with political sensitivity and coordination of the various stakeholders in the project team
  • Continuous, target group-specific communication
  • Design and implementation of necessary organizational changes (such as timely establishment of a BPO organization)
  • Strategic and tactical planning and design of user training
  • Ongoing monitoring of project progress, user acceptance and the mood & mindset with regard to the transformation, including the introduction of necessary interventions
  • Preparation and support of executives as drivers of the transformation; ensuring the right leadership impulses

SAP Transformation Study 2023

In our first SAP study with DSAG, we highlighted the importance of change management and the success factors associated with it. Due to the enormous response and the continuing relevance for the majority of all SAP user companies, we have now launched a follow-up study – again in cooperation with DSAG. The goal of the study is to gain even more concrete insights for future transformations. Based on SAP’s ACTIVATE model, we want to find out

  • which aspects are particularly important in which project phases, and
  • What are the most common mistakes made in SAP transformations?

We would also like to include your experiences in our study and systematically record them in a questionnaire-based interview.

Join now and secure your keynote!

Have you already migrated your company to S/4 (or another SAP system) or are you still in the process of transformation? Then contribute your experience to our study! By interviewing one of our SAP change experts, you can gain direct insights for your project. We also offer to present the results of the study to all interview participants.
